ThreatMon is proud to announce that it has achieved STAR for AI Level 1 from the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), marking another milestone in the company’s approach to AI governance, transparency, and trusted AI-driven cybersecurity.
The STAR for AI program extends the Cloud Security Alliance’s globally recognized Security, Trust, Assurance and Risk (STAR) framework to artificial intelligence. STAR for AI Level 1 is achieved through the completion and publication of the AI CAIQ self-assessment, providing standardized transparency into how organizations approach AI governance and security.
For ThreatMon, this milestone reflects the company’s continued investment in building AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities on a foundation of accountability, security, and governance.

By aligning its AI governance practices with CSA’s AI Controls Matrix (AICM) and completing the AI CAIQ self-assessment, ThreatMon has published detailed disclosures covering areas such as AI model risk management, data governance, third-party AI dependencies, and incident response for AI systems, giving customers and partners concrete visibility into how these controls are implemented, rather than a general assurance statement alone.
