The group is recognized for its highly sophisticated tactics and techniques, which enable them to establish and maintain a persistent presence on targeted systems and networks. Due to their capabilities, the DoNot Team is considered a significant threat to organizations and individuals, with a focus on targeting South Asian countries including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
